PENERAPAN SADAR WISATA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SAPTA PESONA DI PANTAI GEDAMBAAN KOTABARU

Abstract

The problem studied concerns the lack of public awareness of Gedambaan Beach towards tourism as well as the proper application of Tourism Awareness to increase Sapta Pesona for tourism. The purpose of the study was to determine the application of community tourism awareness so far to increase Sapta Pesona at the Gedambaan Beach tourist attraction. The research method used is a descriptive method, namely describing or telling about tourism, tourism awareness, and Sapta Pesona. Sources of data obtained through observations, interviews with the Head of the Destination and Tourism Division of the Culture and Tourism Office, and distributing questionnaires to tourists on Gedambaan Beach. From these data, it is obtained an illustration that the application of Tourism Awareness to increase Sapta Pesona at Gedambaan Beach tourism objects is still not maximal. The results of this study found that the tourism development process should go hand in hand with the implementation of community tourism awareness. Likewise, the process of creating Sapta Pesona must go well. The application of tourism awareness at Gedambaan Beach is very important, in addition to the tourism industry as well as for the community. In addition, people who have gained knowledge and insight about Sadar Wisata and Sapta Pesona can implement them in their daily activities.
